Holistic Dog Cancer Expert: Dr. Steven Eisen

Dr. Steven Eisen helps dog owners understand how to treat their dogs with the most effective, scientifically proven, non-toxic cancer treatments so that they can live longer, fuller lives and avoid the often life-shortening consequences of conventional canine cancer treatments. He is the author of the best-selling book, Dog Cancer: The Holistic Answer.

Dr. Eisen is a Doctor of Chiropractic who has studied holistic medicine for more than 30 years.

While still in college in the mid 1970’s, Dr. Eisen developed an interest in mind/body medicine and intensively studied the works of many holistic experts.

After graduating from Ithaca College in 1977, Dr. Eisen was awarded a scholarship to study numerous humanistic, mind/body methods at the Esalen Institute in Big Sur, California. It was there that he made a definitive commitment to a professional study of the human organism. Seeking to learn as much about anatomy and physiology as possible, he chose to enroll in chiropractic college, where more classroom hours were devoted to those subjects than in any other type of professional academy, including medical school.

Dr. Eisen graduated from the Pennsylvania College of Chiropractic in 1982. He then began private practice in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. As his studies continued, he developed an interest in holistic nutrition and functional medicine. Since then, he has spent thousands of hours learning how to treat diseases with nutrition from some of the greatest authorities in the field.

During his time in chiropractic practice, Dr. Eisen became a well respected expert, won numerous awards and participated in writing state and national chiropractic guidelines and legislation which are still widely acclaimed today. It was this expertise that made him a widely sought after consultant by attorneys, chiropractors and state and national chiropractic associations. He was also selected as an independent chiropractic consultant to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

When his eleven year old Lhasa Apso, Fergie, was diagnosed with a severely debilitating cancer, lymphosarcoma, in 2005, Dr. Eisen drew on his accumulated expertise to treat her holistically. As a result, Fergie was cured of her lymphosarcoma. While the medical prognosis stated that Fergie would not live for more than six weeks, she actually lived for almost two and a half more years, reaching the normal life expectancy for her breed. Her veterinarian, amazed, said she had never seen a dog with Fergie’s condition recover and thrive for so long.

As others whose dogs had cancer heard about what Dr. Eisen had achieved with Fergie, they began clamoring for written information on these alternative dog cancer treatments. But there was no authoritative material available. This was a gap Dr. Eisen felt he had to fill; the result is his unique holistic dog cancer system which includes his book, Dog Cancer: The Holistic Answer, and the companion website included with the book, Best Dog Cures.
